20 days for every 26 pay periods; i.e., about one and one-half days every
four weeks.
Vacation credit is earned only for bi-weekly pay periods during which an
employee is in full pay status for at least seven of the ten workdays in the
pay period.
An employee is also credited with additional vacation each year upon
completion of 20 or more years of service. He or she receives one
additional day each year for 20 to 24 years of service, two days for 25 to
29 years, three days for 30 to 34 years, and four days for each year of
service starting with the 35th year.
Upon completion of from one to 35 or more years of service vacation is
earned and accumulated in accordance with the following schedule:

35 or more 24 days (including 4 additional bonus days)
Generally, vacation may not be accumulated beyond a maximum of 40
days. However, the Institutional Services Unit Agreement provides that
when an employee who is at the vacation maximum (or who will exceed
the vacation maximum at the end of the current time card period) submits
a written request for time off which is denied, the employee may exceed
the vacation maximum until March 31 or until the employee drops below
the 40-day maximum, whichever occurs first. Employees who reduce
